Americana Outdoors, Inc. ("Americana Outdoors," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy applies specifically to conversational text messages exchanged between you and an Americana Outdoors employee using Microsoft Teams Phone. It supplements, and does not replace, our general Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
When you use our SMS service, we may collect your mobile telephone number; the content of messages exchanged with our employees; message dates, times, delivery information, and opt-in or opt-out status; and information you voluntarily provide concerning a quotation, order, project, service request, dealer or supplier relationship, scheduling matter, or other business conversation.
Please do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, authentication, or payment information by text message.
How we use SMS information
We use SMS information only to send and receive conversational person-to-person business messages; respond to questions and requests; coordinate quotations, orders, projects, scheduling, delivery, service, and other existing business matters; and operate, secure, troubleshoot, and meet legal obligations associated with the SMS service.
Americana Outdoors does not use this Microsoft Teams SMS service for bulk messaging, automated alerts, marketing blasts, or promotional campaigns.
How information is shared
We may share information with Microsoft, telecommunications carriers, and other service providers only as necessary to transmit, deliver, secure, support, and maintain the SMS service. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, customers, employees, or others.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers acting solely as necessary to deliver and operate the messaging service.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any message to stop messages from that employee's telephone number.
- You may also use QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
- Reply START to resume messages after opting out.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
Opt-out requests apply to the conversation and employee telephone number from which the messages were sent.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information handled by the SMS service. SMS messages may be retained as reasonably necessary for the business conversation, legal requirements, security, troubleshooting, and records-management obligations.
